The top left is a Goffin Cockatoo named 'China'
She is the sweatest little bird always willing to do anything we ask of her. We do have to watch China closely, though, because she would eat up the house if she got half a chance, She has already recarved my four poster bed. Our fault though, we went out and accidently left her out of her cage China has been with us for over a year now as of Christmas. Every night she has to go to bed with Carol. She sleeps with her for about two hours, tucked in around Carol's neck. China will wake Carol up when she has to go to the bathroom, and Carol takes China to her cage. She is fine in her cage after that, but would screem like a baby if she did not get to sleep with Carol at first.

Next in the back we have an African Grey Parrot. She is all grey with a red tail. Her name is 'Bijou'. They say the African Grey is the smartist bird there is, able to communicate and say up to 3000 words. That would be more than I know. She loves Carol and has to go to bed with her for a few minutes everynight.

The little green bird sitting on a perch is a Green Cheek Conure. His name is 'Emerald'. He is our smallest bird, but he thinks he is the biggest, and not scared of anybody.

Next, the green bird sitting in the center facing left is a Gardine. She is a character with an attitude. Her name is 'Deva'. She really gets excited when Carol comes to play with her. Loves to roll upside down for fun. She loves to eat buttons particularly when they are on my shirts.

Up front center we have 'Missy'. Missy is a Pionus Parrot and just a sweetheart that has been with us almost two year. She is very bashful and standoffish. It has been two years of working trying to make her more friendly and loving. Everyday we see an improvement still. She loves Carol and comes running everytime she see her.

Our last two sweethearts just left of center bottom are the first in our family. Punkin on the left and Lacroix (Laqua) on the right. They are Cockatiels. Lacroix is a wonderful little white faced grey Cockatiel that continues to lay eggs. Probably about 110 to this date. They are not fertile, because Punkin has not figured out what to do. I think he is still angry about Lacroix becoming the second bird family member. He is so jealous. Since then though, he has had to learn to put up with eight more birds, and to get in line for attention.

We have added two more, something I said we would not do--Carol did it--She felt sorry for this little green & peach colored love bird that now loves me. We call her peaches (Squeekie). She is not pictured yet on this page. And now another one--Autumn a gold capped conure not pictured.
